jewelle2_photo2_caseID95The most famous Parisian jeweller, “”Boucheron””, has created a perfume, with a particularly outstanding design of bottle – an enlargement of a ring. The blue cap symbolises a cut stone whilst the bottle itself is supported in a fine gold-plated ring. This part – die cast in zinc alloy – has several features – perfect casting, the avoidance of any modification of the shape during polishing (particularly on the inside surface). Special techniques were also used to ensure a good plated finish on inner surfaces. The “pebbled” surface on some areas is obtained straight from the die and assists in bonding in the glass.
